Front Desk Dashboard

This document explains the features and layout of the Property Management Dashboard, designed for efficient oversight of property operations and reservations.

Key Features​

  • Current Date & Occupancy Summary:
    • Displays the current day and date .
    • Occupancy Rate: Shows the current booking status as a ratio of "Booked" units to "Total Available" units.
    • Availability Breakdown: Clearly separates "Booked" and "Available" unit counts for quick understanding.
  • Reservation Activity Overview:
    • Provides at-a-glance metrics for daily reservation movements:
      • Arrivals: Number of guests checking in today.
      • Departures: Number of guests checking out today.
      • Reserved: Number of upcoming reservations.
      • No Show: Count of reservations where guests did not arrive.
      • Cancelled: Count of cancelled bookings.
  • Detailed Reservation List:
    • A comprehensive table detailing individual reservations.
    • Guest Name: Includes the guest's name, with a WhatsApp icon indicating direct communication options.
    • Booking Platform: Specifies the Online Travel Agency (OTA) or platform used for the booking.
    • Reservation Date: The date the reservation was made or applies to.
    • Amount: The financial value associated with the booking.
    • Bed Type: Indicates the type of bed or room configuration.
    • Status & Action: Displays the current status with an "Update" button to easily modify the status.
  • Rate Information:
    • Shows the current rate for specific property types.

How to Use​

  1. Monitor Daily Operations: Refer to the "Current Date & Occupancy Summary" to understand the immediate property status and the "Reservation Activity Overview" for daily movements.
  2. Manage Reservations: Use the "Detailed Reservation List" to view specific bookings, track their status, and update them as guests check-in, check-out, or if there are changes.
  3. Identify Booking Channels: The "Booking Platform" column in the reservation list helps identify which channels are generating bookings.
  4. Review Pricing: Check the "Rate Information" to quickly see the current pricing for different unit types.
